Non-lube, mini-lube and sometimes even lubricated compressors require continuous monitoring of rider ring condition.
The ROD Position Analyser monitors rider ring wear by applying the rod drop measurement principle. Also applicable in cases when the installation of HOERBIGER WearCOM is not possible.
While conventional systems just measure rod drop at defined crank angle the HOERBIGER ROD Position Analyser analyses rod position over 360 degrees.
With the ROD Position Analyser - amongst others - of loose connections between piston and crosshead or excessive crosshead clearance can be detected at an early stage.
