Reed valves for air brake compressors
The areas of application for these reed valves are commercial road vehicles and trains. These reed valves are often water-cooled.
To provide water channels in the seat plate the following design principles are used:
- hollow-cast seat plate "sandwich" design
- half hollow-cast seat plate + half steel seat plate
- soldered seat plate
The materials used for the seat plate are steel, cast iron and aluminium.
To improve heat transfer, suction reeds with an integrated gasket are sometimes used. We also supply subassemblies, e.g. a cylinder head complete with reed valves.
