HOERBIGER ::

Systems and components for screw compressors

Both stationary and mobile screw compressors have to be equipped with carefully harmonized control components to match compressor capacity to current demand, to maintain oil pressure and to depressurize the compressor after motor shutdown.
HOERBIGER supplies a complete programme of valves and control units, enabling a control system to be customized to suit any specific compressor.

Valves for installation in the suction duct of screw compressors. There is a choice between stepless control and 2-point capacity control. With stepless capacity control the suction volume is continuously matched to the current air demand; with 2-point capacity control the compressor switches between on-load (100%) and off-load (0%). If the suction volume is controlled entirely by regulation of the speed of the drive motor, only a check valve is needed for the suction duct. Suction control valves with integrated venting valve are also available for oil-free screw compressors

Minimum pressure valves maintain the minimum pressure required for the lubrication of oil-injected screw compressors. The integrated check valve prevents reverse flow from the compressed air network when the compressor is switched from on-load or partial load to off-load or shutdown.

Pneumatic valves to generate control signals for components on the suction side, and pneumatic valves for regulation and control of the bypass/venting system.

Valves for control and regulation of the internal air/oil circulation in oil-injected screw compressors.
