The use of highly durable and adjustable friction linings, which are integrated into the peripheral components (hub, sliding sleeve) of a synchronizer and produced to a large extent in in-house production facilities, allows HOERBIGER to successfully cover the requirements in regard to modern manual transmission synchronizers, also in the commercial vehicle sector.
The modular product portfolio enables easy upgrades from single-surface to multi-surface synchronizers with different friction linings, while maintaining a nearly identical installation space.
